How to set up POP or IMAP email
This guide will explain the settings you need to set up POP or IMAP for your email address. For customers using LCN Web hosting, WordPress hosting or Email hosting with an Authenticated SMTP.
Please Note: The following settings are generic, settings such as ports may differ depending on your setup. If you’re looking for a setup guide specific to your email client, you can find these here.
Before you start you’ll need to have setup an email address in your LCN account.

IMAP Settings
Incoming
- Username: yourname@yourdomain.com
- Password: your mailbox password
- Mail Server: mail.lcn.com
- Port: 993
- SSL: On
- Authentication: Password
Outgoing (SMTP)
- Username: yourname@yourdomain.com
- Password: your mailbox password
- Mail Server: mail.lcn.com
- Port: 465
- SSL: On
- Authentication: Password
Please Note: You must activate SMTP before you can use SMTP to send from your device or application. You can find out how to do this here.
POP Settings
Incoming
- Username: yourname@yourdomain.com
- Password: your mailbox password
- Mail Server: mail.lcn.com
- Port: 995
- SSL: On
- Authentication: Password
Outgoing (SMTP)
- Username: yourname@yourdomain.com
- Password: your mailbox password
- Mail Server: mail.lcn.com
- Port: 465
- SSL: On
- Authentication: Password
